The short answer to the subject question is: Yes, in due course. The more informative answer begins with: Yes, but we need to get to the Caribbean first.

This writing is ment to act as a heads up for possible new owners. If anybody out there is planning a circumnavigation and looking for a truly great yacht, you may not have to look further.

We have been out now for 20 years, visiting around 90 countries, and we love this lifestyle. However, all things must pass, and we have decided to swallow the hook provided we can find a good new owner for Scorpio. The main reason for our decision is that the number of grand children is growing and we would like to be able to see them more often than is possible when cruising.

Scorpio has continuously been taken very good care of, and recently we finished a major renovation (costing around €50,000). We believe that the yacht is better than new, and the conclusion of a recent survey is: the condition of this yacht is exceptional.

Scorpio was built in 1979, at a time when the accountants' desire to cut production costs had not yet reached the floors of the yacht building industry. They simply don't build this kind of boats anymore. If you would like to aquire a quality classic Swan constructed by Sparkman & Stephens at an affordable price, here is your chance.

We will be adding an overview of Scorpio's systems to this web site soon. In the meantime, please take a closer look at The Yacht-page. Don't hesitate to contact us if you became interested!
