ST EUSTATIUS | |
This is one of the five islands of the Dutch Antilles. Usually simply called Statia and its Dutch sisters Saba and Sint Maarten are part of the Leeward Islands. The two others, Bonaire and Curacao are located just north of Venezuela. The only tenable anchorage at Statia:
Note: The autonomous 5-island country called Netherland's Antilles was dissolved in 2010 and all of these islands now remain part of The Netherlands under a different legal status. However, the term Netherland's Antilles is still used to refer to the Duch Caribbean islands. |

ST BARTHÉLÉMY | |
Usually simply called St Barts, this French island belonged to Sweden between 1784 and 1878. Many of the street signs in the capital Gustavia (named after the king of Sweden) still have their Swedish names. Our anchorages at St Barts

SINT MAARTEN - ST MARTIN | |
The island of St Martin is probably the smallest in the world to be divided between two countries. The south part (Sint Maarten) was one of the five territories of the former Dutch Antilles.
