This satellite view shows the open roadsted at Uligan. The shelter is quite good in the NE monsoon. Anchor anywhere between the yellow pins where you can find a sandy spot in depths of 5-20 metres.

The new harbour (which will probably not be available for visiting yachts) had not been built at the time this photo was taken. The pink line indicates a channel that has been blasted through the reef to the new basin. Depth is unknown, but it appeared to be deep enough for the average cruising yacht, at least at high tide. There are plans to build a fuel dock in the harbour. There is a shallower small boat pass near the S marker.
